Supporting Health Care in Our Community Since 1912

The Nicola Valley Health Care Auxiliary is a registered non-profit society and charitable organization,

and a member of the British Columbia Association of Health Care Auxiliaries. We are a group of

dedicated volunteers committed to supporting health care needs in Merritt and the Nicola Valley.

Our Thrift Shop - Raising Funds for Health Care

Visit our Thrift Shop at 1803 Voght Street on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm, and on Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm. We also gratefully accept donations during these times. The shop is closed on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. Please do not leave donations outside on these days.

Get Involved

Join dozens of other dedicated volunteers to make an impact in your community. Each of our volunteers makes a unique and invaluable contribution to the organization.

Community Impact

Funds raised by the Nicola Valley Health Care Auxiliary go directly towards health care for the community. We purchase equipment and support projects for various institutions.

Supporting Youth

We support our local youth with volunteer and employment opportunities. We also give out yearly bursaries for youth seeking a post-secondary education in health care.
